In England where common sense and sanity prevail, we have a simple fail safe way of preventing map reading problems.
All map reading at all times is carried out solely by men.
Women are forbidden by law to attempt or indulge in map reading.
The ladies ( god bless them ) do not have the capability to read maps correctly.
Its not their fault of course, its the way the good lord made them.
In his infinite wisdom he gave woman the power to give birth, look pretty, talk incessently and do menial and tedious chores without complaint.
Men on the other hand , were given the power of intelligence, reason and logical thought.
The ability to read maps and drive carefully comes naturally to man.

I think map reading should be part of the EMT curriculum. That way nobody can say, I haven't done that before....We have a street guide as well as a map in our trucks, but to use the street listing guide, you need to still know the major roads. I for one am glad that I work nowhere near kevbutnobacon, I know how to read a map.

Yea I must agree that kevinebutnobacon is a real ass but he did a good job of getting a few people to talk on here that is for sure!

He has since either left the forum all together or has chickened out and is only lurking now... I have not seen him for a while.
