what do you want to learn? 6 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I am a coordinator for a EMS training program in Ohio. It is a program that utilizes actual organs and cadavers for EMS training and education. The things covered include advanced intubation tools and techniques, new IOs, 12 leads, tactical medicine trends and more.

My question to the group is what else should I be including? Here is a link to the site. Things are getting a little stale and I want to know what people are interested in learning.

well from what i see you guys are everything a medic could ask to see. i wish we had this here in NY.

the only things i can think of to add is:
you dont mention whether the interventions are for adults or peds but maybe you should spend more time on peds intubation and IV access since that is something we dont get much of in the field.

also maybe gastric tubes.

and maybe some drug related class of the latest drugs available and in use in EMS there actions pros and cons.

maybe some section on medical emergency's, hidden MI's, AMS, the importance of noticing certain S&S that medics overlook very often.

Thats my 2 cents hope its helpful.
