Ok, let's start this thread. Why the name "Every Minute Sucks."

I'd admit that getting up at 3am for a tooth ache sucks. But, I know that there were a lot of good times, and I saved plenty of lives. And, that does not suck!

Hello Brian. Sorry for the delay answering your question. I understand what you mean and have some of the same feelings for it myself. BUT while trying to think up a name for the site my coworkers and I were unable to come up with a lot of other options that were not already taken. Also I liked that it jumped out at you a little and thought it might draw people here just out of curiosity.

The acronym EMS = Every Minute Sucks, can be found all over the net in EMS forums and blogs. I hope you notice once visiting the site that it is not meant to be demeaning in any way to EMS. It is just a name.

I have still been mulling over the idea of changing the site name while it is still young though. I have purchased about 6 other domains and one of my favorites is worldofems.com but I have not come to any decision.

I would love to hear other peoples thoughts on this as well. Please by all means let me know what you think. I take criticism well I think.

No, I did not take the name to be demeaning at all. I was just curious.

[For what its worth I like the name of this site and think it would be pandering to the jobsworths of this world by changing it to something sensible but dreary and tedious.
It is in keeping with the quaint image we in England have of your lack of formalness.
We do a job which by its gruesome nature makes us develope a sick and black sense of humour.
