Don't do it. Nothing good can come of it. The wackers around here (ohio) that goose up their autos with lights and siren are a joke. You can always tell a FNG by all the crap mounted on their vehicle. If you absolutely need one, get a suction mounted visor light and a small Whalen siren, so you can be discreet when you do not want the attention ie at a party, the watering hole etc. Good Luck.

Hey CJ,
As it was previously noted, not all states allow for the lights and sirens. I live in Wisconsin and it is legal. Our volunteer department depends on our personal vehicles having lights and sirens to get to our calls on time. My husband is a firefighter and I am an EMT for our department. We have purchased most of our equipment from Galls.com. Good luck!

Thanx for the tip i know galls has some nice stuff but there a bit expensive so i was thinking of just getting the chines stuff. would you believe it since this post went up i still havent fully hooked up my car with L&S i was too busy not making money b/c of medic school so i couldnt afford it but i hope now ill be able to fully hook it up.

Thank you all for your comments and concerns. just to remark some of of you say how ill look like a buff an all... when it comes to volunteering i dont care what ppl in the street say i plan to hook up my car immoderately with only what i need not a Christmas tree. anyways to all a good night...
