ST. LOUIS > Man killed on interstate ? A man trying to retrieve something that fell from his truck onto northbound Interstate 55 near Park Avenue was struck by an SUV and killed about 11:55 a.m. Monday, police said. The name of the victim, 57, who died at a hospital, was not released. The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The highway was closed until about 2:45 p.m.
